Here are some examples of my portrait plates, trays and tiles. They are done with a special paint which is baked on and is extremely durable (actually dishwasher safe).
I use a monochromatic technique which is inspired by Delft blue and white china. I create the designs with only blue-black paint.
The trays (13 and 12 wide) and plate (8 dia.) pictured directly below are trophies I painted for the BTCA National Specialty Sweepstakes at Montgomery County in 2002.
The green and gold bordered plates (9.75dia.) are Best of Breed Trophies for the Kennesaw Kennel Club shows in 2005.
Tiles shown below are 4.25 square.
Trays similar to the ones shown are $95 to $125. Plates are $45 to $75. Tiles are $35 to $45.
