PHOTOS Portraits are done from your photos. Photos should be very clear with accurate color. I prefer to have one photo with the pose you like best. Additional photos are always helpful with capturing personality and details. Photos can be e-mailed or sent by regular mail. ______________________________________________________________________ I do not require a deposit . I will photograph your completed portrait and e-mail a photo to you for your approval. If necessary, I will make corrections. Payment is not due until the portrait is completed to your satisfaction. I accept PayPal as well as personal checks. ______________________________________________________________________ About the Paper and Pastels Used in the Portraits………. All portraits are done on Wallis Archival Museum Grade Pastel Paper. It is acid-free, 100% cotton rag paper. Only the finest pastels are used. Pastels are the purest form of color used by artists. They are formed from pigments and only enough binder to allow useable sticks to be created. Pastel is considered one of the most permanent of art media. Artwork done in pastel should be framed under glass with a double or triple mat. After completion, I make a foam core container for the portrait. This protects the portrait until it is framed. If you’re outside the Atlanta metro area and can’t pick up the portrait, I will ship it to you. Shipping charges will be added to the cost of the portrait. This is usually $15-$20 within the United States. I ship by UPS.
