A pastel portrait is a wonderful way to capture the spirit of a beloved pet.
I have found pastel to be
the perfect medium for depicting gleaming eyes, soft fur, wet noses and other delightful details.
Being a life-long
artist and lover of animals, portraying pets in my artwork has been a special joy.
I work by commission from clear
photos of clients' companion animals - dogs, cats, horses and smaller companions such as birds, rabbits, ferrets and reptiles.
I also paint pastel portraits of people, with their pets or alone.
